5 College Admission Essay Mistakes To Avoid Many of them just nod, bored by the common sense of it all. Donât restate something in your resume and then just add âand everyone thanked meâ at the end. Think outside of the box and say something different. You are familiar with this construct, work to do at given to you by a school, due by a certain date, otherwise known as homework. Explain how this will benefit you on the course and make you a valuable asset to the university. You can also include a brief sentence or two about your career path or any other plans you have for the future that your university education will enable you to achieve.
